I just wrapped up another incredible workshop up here in Banff National Park in Canada. It has been nothing short of an amazing week and I can’t wait to go through all the images. I’m about to head out to do a hike before sunset but wanted to share this image from a couple mornings ago.
The previous day we got a ton of snow throughout the day and all through the night, so we were all excited to see a completely new landscape covered in snow. We drove up to Lake Minnewanka for sunrise but we decided to nix it because of the cloud cover and ended up at Two Jack which is just around the corner (literally). We really lucked out by making the switch because the light that morning was just unreal and with the fresh blanket of snow it felt like we had walked into Narnia. The view here is from the lake looking out toward Mount Rundle which was getting bathed in bright red alpenglow. We were all just speechless.
This was shot on my Sony a7Rii and Sony FE 70-200 f/4 lens. ISO 100, f/8, 1/30th of a second.
